We come across situations where the archivelogs are not deleted in source and destination and it continues to fill up space in the server to avoid that we have to make sure we enable parameters for AMM(Archivelog Management Module) in the DDC files.
This is applicable in both Version 7.0 and Standby Version 8.0
The parameter DELETE_ARCHSOURCE
and DELETE_ARCHDEST
is set to NO
.
These parameters needs to be set to YES
. This allows Dbvisit Standby to delete archive log files once the specified percentage threshold is met.
