Dbvisit continually strives to innovate and evolve Dbvisit Standby, providing customers with increased functionality that supports the latest technologies and operating systems based on customer demand.

Our goal is to provide a straightforward product life cycle that helps our customers better manage and deploy their upgrades. As part of this, we periodically find that certain software versions will reach the end of their lives or end of support capability.

Further to this, we are reminding our customers of 2 changes to our support of Dbvisit Standby V6 and V7 from 31 December 2019:

Dbvisit Standby Version 6 is on its terminal release and no further changes will be released. Dbvisit will support V6 customers until 31 December 2019, after which no support will be available for this release.

Dbvisit Standby Version 7 is officially supported until 31 December 2019 too, after which support will only be provided to customers with a special agreement.

Customers are encouraged to upgrade to the latest Dbvisit Standby Version 9 to get all of the latest updates including the new central console (GUI) interface.  And, from v9.0.06 onwards, we also offer an option to purchase Dbvisit Standby Snapshot (currently Linux only). This allows you to create an exact replica of your production database at a moment in time using your standby database, making it perfect for reporting environments, DR tests, development or test environments.

There are upgrade services and packages available through your partner or directly through Dbvisit.
