Script to prepare multiple tables

Hi,

I want to add 10 more tables to my  replication (Linux & replicate 2.08)

should i do this for each table separate or  here is a way to do for all of them in one command line ?

1. - Create script tables.dbvrep file containing:

prepare table scott.a01
prepare table scott.a02
[...]
prepare table scott.a03

2 - Pause APPLY process

3 - Run tables.dbvrep file as follows:

dbvrep> @tables.dbvrep

It will return SCN

4 - Export & import table data using SCN you got back from prepare command

Hi,

In Linux, you can do a script whith a various lines like that for prepare tables in command line:

 

[your path ]/dbvrep  --ddcfile  [your path]/[YOUR DDC FILE].ddc  PREPARE [OFFLINE] TABLE owner.table
