dbvisit standby rman files

hi all

i create an standby database using standby 7.0 from the command line cli , it madean rman and copy all these files to the standby server , leaving these files in the temporary location of the standby server , shall i delete these files in order to free space ??

  • The TMP location on the standby server will be the location to which the backup created on the primary will be transferred.  From this location Dbvisit Standby will start the restore/creation of the standby database.  Ensure there is sufficient space in this location to hold a full compressed backup of the primary database.
  • These backup files can be deleted once the standby database is applying the archive logs.
