Trace files are not deleted

Trace files are filling our file system whereas parameter are setted :

NUM_TRACE_TO_KEEP = 100

DAYS_TO_KEEP_TRACE = 4

Our install is using a link :

lrwxrwxrwx 1  root    root      25    Jan 25 2016  dbvisit -> /usr/dbvisit_rhel6_x86_64
drwxr-x--x   6 oracle oinstall 4096 Jun 2 14:19   dbvisit_rhel6_x86_64

We are using a link as described and I would like to known if it could explain this issue (a delete which would not follow links for example ... ) ?

Any other idea ?

Regards

Raphael

Dbvisit Standby trace files are files that are created every time Dbvisit Standby executes, these trace files contain a large amount of information about the execution of Dbvisit Standby and can be sent to Dbvisit support for fast issue resolution. These files can become very big in size and use up a lot of disk space.

One can refer to the following online link to set certain variables  to manage the maintenance of these  trace files.
