DB sync timing out

We  have a 2 node oracle rac cluster 11.2.0.4 running on Oracle linux. We have a standby remote oracle node running 11.2.0.4 on oracle linux. We are using dbvisit 7.0.20

 

Today I deleted many rows from a table and did a db sync from the primary node. The db sync has hung with an error in a trace file.

Hello Jabbar.

Thanks for your question, from the above we see that the dbvisit process which is applying the archivelogs has not completed yet. Stop the schedules and wait for the dbvisit process to complete, since it might be applying more archivelogs (due to the deletion). Once it's done you can resume the schedules. You could run a log gap report from primary (from any one node) and check how far it's done.
